Indy Goldberg graduated from Northwestern University in the Spring of 2025, where she majored in Legal Studies and Social Policy. A long-time advocate for human rights, Goldberg began her involvement in criminal justice as a Senior in high school, where she edited "Barred: Why the Innocent Can't Get Out of Prison" by Professor Daniel Medwed. In college, Goldberg was involved in multiple mentorship programs through the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice, where she witnessed human rights violations in the carceral state firsthand. Her goal is to become a criminal defense lawyer and provide legal services to those facing the horrors of the United States' carceral system. The Remedy Project is unique in that it gives immediate relief to those in the most hidden and vulnerable places in our society. Goldberg is proud to be involved because the organization sheds light on these abuses and does justice to human stories.
