Benjy Sachs is a journalist studying at CUNY’s Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. He joined The Remedy Project in 2021 (back when it was called the Student Justice League). Benjy has also volunteered in a literacy tutoring program at San Quentin Prison. He believes journalism and advocacy done by organizations like The Remedy Project can help expose injustices that affect incarcerated people and lead to positive changes.
